Increased education program funding by 200% over 6 years and doubled the number of socioeconomically disadvantaged students served with WildCare program scholarships.Led strategic planning and community outreach efforts to develop and sustain programming partnerships with other non-profits, school districts, local community organizations and businesses. Programs produced high marks for guest satisfaction and in 2013 served an all-time record of over 34,000 school children and families.Led efforts to market WildCare Education programs to a diverse audience targeting teachers, school administrators, and family members. Programming offerings increased the Academy guests’ average length of stay by 40% to 2.3 hrs. Led the growth, management and administration of a $300,000+ budget to offer public programming on the Academy’s main floor. Maximized budget through collaborative programming partnerships. As a result reduced programming spending by 30% and exceeded programming attendance projections by at least 130% for most fiscal years.Created new and innovative interpretive programming for Academy guests and school children (e.g. the Academy’s first Earth Day Celebration in 1999). Increased program funding and attendance by 340% over 9 years, and set the foundation for the Academy’s high programmatic emphasis today.Led Academy marketing and programming initiatives that successfully developed and established relationships with surrounding community groups, local non-profits and businesses in the Bay Area.
