"Transición a una Economía Verde y Urbana (TEVU)" project, financed by the Global Environmental Facility (GEF7), implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and executed by the Organization for Tropical Studies (OTS).

NDC Support Programme: This program helps countries to achieve transformational development progress by scaling up climate action. I was responsible for supporting, supervising, and leading several projects to aid the country’s green economic transformation and meet targets set by the National Determined Contributions, the National Decarbonization Plan (NDP), and the National Adaptation Plan. Some of the projects include: developing a green fiscal reform, evaluation of several decarbonization policies, NDP's roadmap development, promoting greener practices in the financial sector, financing green small businesses and entrepreneurs, structuring active mobility interventions, supporting the Costa Rican Readiness proposal (1M USD) for the Green Climate Fund, and assistance to OECD’s representatives to discuss and report the country’s progress on tackling climate change.

Responsible for analyzing national and international economic indicators in order to provide recommendations to private investors, government institutions, pension funds, among others. Moreover, I was in charge of analyzing financials of national and international companies to provide investment criteria. Also, I was part of BN Valores' board of investment products, where I had voice to include or exclude new investment products into the firm's investment portfolio.

In charge of writing daily reports regarding the global political-economic backdrop and its impact on several markets (stock exchange, government bonds, commodities, and currencies) for wealth management operations of a top-tier British bank with +1500 readers. Conducting research and understanding macroeconomic data, socio-political events and financial figures was key to provide market insights. Additionally, provided the Costa Rican Moody's office with regular reports on international markets performance and topics related to its business' interests

Handled two academic research projects

Project 098756. "Evaluacion de acciones de mitigacion al cambio climatico y sus efectos en Costa Rica en el periodo 2014-2018": Collected and analyzed data from several Costa Rican projects related to climate change to quantify and estimate their climate impact, allowing the government to assess and report to the UNFCCC Convention the outcome of its policy-making regarding climate change. "Medidas y Programas de Mitigacion del Cambio Climatico en El Salvador": Collected and analyzed data to quantify and forecast El Salvador's level of greenhouse gases by sector, using the latest IPCC guidelines and econometric modeling. Moreover, performed and wrote an economic analysis to assess the impact of several public investments. Thereby, El Salvador's government reported our findings to the UNFCC Convention as part of its compromise with global climate change.
