I served in the Advisory Board of Noor Medical as an adviser for project management on a voluntary basis. Noor Medical is a multinational and interdisciplinary group of entrepreneurs who seek to improve humanity’s access to equitable healthcare. They aim to address the 1.5 billion people per year who do not have access to rural medical clinics with a reliable electricity supply – which often results in the improper sanitation of medical equipment. Their mission is to provide the critical sterilization of medical equipment for rural health clinics – with a 2025 goal of positively impacting 20 million lives.

• Conceptualization and development of pilot projects for sustainable energy supply and new income generation activities for rural areas in Arequipa and Huancayo, Peru, including the realization of activities in-situ;• Design and development of a market analysis for solar lanterns in Arequipa, Peru;• Assessment of value chains for energy products distributed through microfinance institutions in Latin America and the Philippines.

• Development of proposal for the use of hybrid systems for off-grid electrification in India;• Evaluation of the economic and technical feasibility of the usage of hybrid systems for rural electrification in India through HOMER Energy.

• Analysis of the Indian policy framework for hybrid power systems;• Assessment of previous experiences with hybrid systems for rural electrification in India, including the identification of feasible productive uses of electricity to be connected to an off-grid hybrid system in rural areas of India.
