What started as a simple mobile application became a complete platform to connect farmers, roasters and others into coffee producing process. "Mi Café" is an App which does the math in real time and tracks the price of Colombian coffee using statistics, machine leaning and web scraping techniques. Empowering farmers with information leads to better trades for all the chain. This solution started from scratch in 2017 (named as CafeMarket); the business plan, the marketing strategy and the financial model were carefully designed, evaluated and currently deployed successfully.This solution was awarded with the first place into the hackaton CafeTic 2017. It was developed using JS, PHP and Angular into Ionic Framework.

Colombia

This was my first startup experience related to e-commerce and mobile design. A virtual liquor store, with delivery service reinvented to use digital marketing strategies, analytics, social media campaigns and trends. This business requires a high comprehension of logistics, budget management, procurement and negotiation. In summary, a butch of unexpected challenges beyond technology. A business school. The mobile app was built in native language for Android and iOs, it reached almost 1.000 downloads. Main highlights are related with the increase of the number of sales and revenues testing different marketing strategies ensuring QoS.

Brazil

Part of the team in charge of commission the electric and instrumentation systems for oil refinery. Worked on the construction and upgrade of different industrial plants for processing C5+, GLP and energy generation in the Brazilian Petroleum Corporation. Several challenges to face enriched and strengthen my professional career. This was my first experience managing large teams of technicians (up to 70 professionals). I was responsible for planning daily activities for all my teams; electrical, mechanical and instrumentation. Definitely this position taught me to work under strict timetable restrictions.

Campinas Area, Brazil

This position was directly related to my MSc's thesis. We developed an automotive blackbox which registers and saves inertial events inside the autobuses p.e. bumps, strong accelerations and stops. The information is used to depict (using GPS) locations where the chances of a car accident are higher. The whole development is a set composed by software and hardware in order to suggest not the fastest, nor the closest but the safest pathway to the users.Accelerometers, gyroscope and magnetometer were used to measure on board variables leading a sensor fusion to improve the quality and noise level of computed results. Requirements definition, design of multi-components system based on microlectromechanic sensors, brake system, ISO26262, testing.

Designed and installed backup and high reliability networks using IBM solutions: Tivoli Storage Manager, Tivoli Directory Server and Acronis Backup and Data Protection tools.Due to the broad range of customers I had the opportunity to develop and reinforce different skills such team-work, convenient customer treatment, coordination and development of IT projects.
