Responsabilities• Delivered technical assistance on environmental monitoring for the construction of a new oil platform (Chipiron T-B) in Arauca Department (Colombia), working for Occidental de Colombia LLC., in a very sensitive area (Estero del Lipa).• Fulfilment of the environmental commitments, the environmental policy statement and the reports required from the environmental authorities.• Avoidance of unexpected environmental impacts of the project during the construction stage.• Contribution to preserve the natural landscape, the wilderness and the rich biodiversity of the wetland where project is located.• Customer and building contractor companies relations. Staff management. • Ensured quality.Achievements• Produced, elaborated and submitted more than 60 proposals to improve the environmental management of the Project, which contributed to zero environmetal accidents during the construction stage in a very sensitive ecosystem such as Lipa wetland.• Developed a worksite environmental monitoring system that envolved all the construction company staff. That system increased their responsability and contributed to zero occurrences in environmental incidents.

That contributed to 25% of time savings during the drawing plans and supervision stages.• Elaborated a user´s guide of the new software to share my know how with other future users within the company.
