Managing a multidisciplinary studio since 2019, I've completed a range of different creative projects and worked with over 50 different clients. Skilled in commercial photography, digital marketing, and project management, I've worked with various freelancers and other creatives to complete projects including construction and digital design projects.

Design and technical documentation for various large-scale construction projects as part of a 20-person team. One notable project was a large-scale educational building for a local university, valued at $10,000,000. Responsibilities included creating detailed drawings, 3D models, renders, and presentations; conducting site visits; and participating in project meetings. Collaborated with the director, senior architects, engineers, and the client to ensure that designs met client requirements and complied with building codes and regulations. Conducted research and sourced local materials to support innovative and efficient project solutions

As the second team member to join Jacques Erasmus, I worked closely with him to realize high-end interior design projects. My role entailed extensive collaboration with clients, engineers, and architects, with a primary focus on interior design. A significant project during this period was the Kubili House, a prestigious multi-million dollar development in the Thornybush Nature Reserve, South Africa. Our responsibilities encompassed all facets of the interior design process, including material sourcing, invoice management, supplier identification and coordination, project administration, and the creation of detailed renderings. Additionally, I played a key role in the hiring process and in expanding the team.

Juane was chosen by VISI magazine as their young design contestant . The reality TV show, Win a home, airs on SABC 3 from 4pm-5pm . The 3 young designers turn three white box apartments into amazing spaces under very tight deadlines at Val de Vie estate in Paarl. It was her first ever experience as an interior designer, project manager and reality tv participant. The TV industry is not for everyone and this was a crash course in interior design that is very helpful to any young designer in the architectural field. Hands-on experience is the best teacher. Responsibilities included project management, issuing of drawings, running site meetings, drawing and co-ordination of details, resolving of problems that arise throughout the construction process and attending consultant meetings.
