My role is to lead the product development phase for ODM/OEM projects. Some of my basic tasks included the following: • Design electrical systems according to project scope and client’s specifications• Manage day to day engineering tasks to ensure successful project deliverables• Design 3D electrical components using computer-aided design (CAD) software• Apply electrical codes and standards to project’s design to ensure safety and functionality• Draft circuit schematic layouts to be used in electrical circuits• Design circuit boards according to project power, dimensions and temperature requirements• Calculate, measure and maximize efficient power consumption using engineering tools• Research new technologies and techniques to be applied into current and future projects• Communicate with mechanical engineers, industrial designers and manufacturers to finish project- milestones• Supply manufacturers with final design files and Bill of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing
