Nethereum provides the tooling and solutions to create Web, Mobile, Destkop, Cloud and Games using .Net.In 2015 it became apparent that for Ethereum to succeed across the different industries it was necessary to leverage and integrate with all the development frameworks and technologies. .Net it was an obvious missing gap that it needed to be fulfill.Nethereum is now used by many companies like Microsoft, Etherscan or it has been leveraged by other blokchain solutions like Lykke, Enjin, Loom Network and many others.

The Visual Studio Solidity extension with more than 200k downloads is one of the preferred tools to develop Solidity smart contracts. Its aim is to integrate with all the solutions provided by the community to help everyone to get started with smart contracts.Created on October 2015 it was the 4th extension on VsCode marketplace as a way to simplify and to promote the development of solidity smart contracts.

Comix is a comic reader and future comic marketplace. It was one of first applications launched in the Microsoft Windows Marketplace at the time of the launch of Windows 8 and since then has had 200k+ downloads.

Royal Mail Group Exit Application transition.In this 2-year Royal Mail Group Exit Application transition programme, the support of 115 applications transitioned from CSC to new the service providers HCL and Capgemini, ahead of the complete infrastructure migration to ATOS.Responsible for the architectural governance of the transition. Deputy Service Manager and Project management the last 6 months of the transition.

Co-founder Blockchain research groupAfter the launch of the Ethereum ADEPT demo by IBM and Samsung, I believed this marked the start of the usage of blockchain for enterprises, so my friend Nigel Barron and I started the Crypto 2.0 group (based on Vitalik definition of the union of all Crypto and blokchain technologies).Here we provided information of the different advances of the blockchain technology from both a business and technical perspective and future use cases for CSC accounts and partners.

Co Founder of .Net and Microsoft Technical stack forum.Created and maintained the informal group to gather information about .Net and Microsoft stack, including the creation of Azure and different services.

Responsible for the application and technical architecture, from bid to implementation of the multi-million MRAT system.The MRAT system is the motor fleet quotation engine for new business and renewal of policies at Zurich Financial Services, together with an underwriter front end and B2B interface. The system includes features like pricing, rating calculation of exposure of risk and experience, plus the input of risk, extent of cover and experience data. This system integrates with PAS systems for the retrieval of claims, their development and changes of policy details. In the bid phase, I was mainly responsible for the whole analysis, estimation and proposal of architectures and patterns.In the high level, and detail design phases, I was responsible for the design of the internals of the user interface, service layer and modelling of the main components. Also in these phase I lead the implementation of proof of concepts for the selection of different calculation engines and finally the selection and agreement of the technical architecture components and delivery frameworksDuring implementation phase I concentrated mainly on the overall technical architecture (framework creation and implementation) together with the overall architecture, design and implementation of the bespoke experience rating engine, this part of the system was the biggest challenge due to the complexity of calculations and continuous changes in requirements.Like any other project, I have enjoyed the helping and coaching of the onshore (architecture) and offshore teams (development), ranging from agile principles, patterns and practices and the technical architecture frameworks

IFRS Margin Calculation Engine (Zurich Financial Services)Responsible for the architecture, design, and development of the IFRS Margin calculation engine for Zurich Life Financial Services. This was the major component required for IFRS reporting, which included the calculation of unit movements, cash postings, investments, deposit account and cross fund margin calculation across the different portfolios and funds held across Zurich.Introduction and implementation of agile methodologies best practices, to both business and developers. Thanks to this I managed to ensure we delivered to the quality required, and be able to accommodate new changes (ie core modification on calculations) in a highly complex and non-functional performance driven solution.

Responsible for the initial architecture of Sage Live, to unify our heterogeneous product landscape, standardise our business processes, and provide a common web experience “Sage Live” to deliver our Intranet, Extranet, B2B, B2C and SAAS solutions.Evaluation of agile project methodologies and started the implementation of Scrum across the Sage IS department.Responsible for the selection, evaluation, recommendation for the middleware and portal software. This consisted of ESB (Cape Clear, Fiorano, Tibco Business Works, BEA ALSB, Biztalk, Oracle ESB), BPM (Tibco IProcess Suite, AL-BPM, Global 360, Savvion, Orable BPEL engine), BAM and Portal (ALUI, Web Logic Portal, Tibco Portal Builder, Sharepoint, Oracle ). Responsible for the evaluation and recommendation of Java frameworks for the development of portlets and web services.• Develop and maintain integrated application, data and online architecture landscape pictures.• Lead virtual project teams in delivering application architecture components that enable and support the delivery of the capability roadmap• Take responsibility for selecting, reviewing and ongoing management of all components of the architectural governance model.• Proactively suggest and champion adoption of technology enabled capabilities to enable achievement of business plans and long term objectives• Identify, investigate and work with vendors and technologies that can be trialled and taken to subsequent implementations as part of a proactive capability development roadmap• Identify the organizational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures and culture) and financial impact of the enterprise technical architecture.• Lead technology evaluation and selection, and provide advice on build / buy decisions, including leading and engaging ‘hands on’ in proof-of-concept exercises.

The main architect and one of the senior developers which implemented the InTouch system, a multi tiered award winning Front Office system, which is the foundation of the SOA for Sage UK providing a single point for account access, sales, customer services and telephony integration.

Implemented and maintained the Cesar system, a Greenfield multi tiered ERP system developed in the .Net framework with example modules of proposal creation, project management, cost / benefit planning and tracking, resource scheduling and reporting of all the contracts between Advantica and Transco.• Delivered a new intranet portal.• Supervised and coach the design and development of a new training management system for Advantica and Transco.
