Juan Rodriguez is a long-term care professional and memory care expert who discovered his passion for improving the lives of individuals with dementia while working as a CNA in high school. With over 10 years of experience in long-term care leadership, he has extensive knowledge of software tools, dementia care, and project management. Juan is currently pursuing his Master's degree in human-computer interaction from DePaul University and is a graduate student specializing in UX design for aging users, using his skills to improve the lives of those living with Alzheimer's and dementia. He is also a Specialist for the Alzheimer's Association® Healthy Brain Initiative, managing communications and marketing outreach and providing technical assistance for webinars and virtual events. Juan conducts research and analysis on various policies related to dementia, caregiving, and underserved populations, and serves as the editor of Public Health E-News, a monthly newsletter for public health professionals with over 8,000 subscribers. Prior to his current roles, Juan served as a Technical Assistant and Senior Helpline Agent for the Alzheimer's Association®, providing support and expertise in dementia. He was part of the Spanish, chat, registration, and Spanish US pointer study teams. Juan holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Services Administration with a Concentration in Aging Services, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of North Florida. He is dedicated to using his expertise to improve brain health and the lives of those living with Alzheimer's and dementia.
