Thorndike Street (Lord Overpass) Reconstruction project for the City of Lowell. This $21.9M project includes the demolition of two existing bridges, filling the existing underpass up to grade with approximately 40,000 cy of material, the installation of new utilities, realignment and reconstruction of multiple intersections including new traffic signals. Worked as a Field/Project Engineer in a 45-acre – $11M commercial site development project (Marlborough Apex Center). This position required me to assist the Project Superintendent with project documentation, material procurement, and field supervision. On a daily basis I was required to provide guidance and clarifications to field crews, ensuring work was performed in compliance with plans and specifications. I maintained daily logs of personnel and equipment used in project for cost coding and tracking purposes. In addition, I maintained record and calculated work quantities to prepare monthly pay requisitions while maintaining direct communication with the Project Manager. Also, I was in charge of preparing, updating, and submitting project submittals and RFIs to the general contractor

While at the headquarters office, I was required to assist Project Managers/Estimators with the preparation of construction bid estimates including analysis of project drawings and specifications, quantity take off, procurement of quotes, and use of Bid2Win estimating software. I had direct exposure to the preparation of contract quantity estimates for monthly payments as well as coordinated meetings with subcontractors and project owners. Also, I prepared and submitted project submittals including AutoCAD work as well as the preparation of project baseline and construction schedules and updates using Primavera P6, complemented with monthly projected spending reports.

Coordinate, supervise and schedule student staff employees for night shifts in the university Multicultural Center. Manage the Multicultural Center through constant communication with professional staff. Produce and update expense reports on a quarterly basis.

- Planned, designed and executed four subcontracted projects combining on-field crew management and design work.- Created two pilot monitoring studies related to tailings dams stability and functionality, involving GPS Surveying.
