Main responsibilities:- Control of holding securities - Cash control of daily trades - Fixed income “Parking” control- Selection of securities for the FX transactions, and load of operations performed by traders in the market

As a back office analyst I was responsible of clients’ receipts and payments, settlement of mutual funds’ transactions, bank and securities reconciliations (wire transactions and US brokers such as Interactive Brokers and Bulltick), updating the daily price changes of traded securities to generate the correct portfolio valuations (from Bloomberg and local sources), among other tasks. Moreover I participated in the process of national and international securities transfers, and settlement of operations with the counterparts. My last responsibilities in the sector were the settlement of local market obligations, such as payments, guarantees and securities according to the operations the company performs. (BYMA/MAE/MAV)

I used to work as an external auditor for the financial industry at one of the main banks operating in Argentina (Banco Patagonia), where the most significative procedures that I have performed are:- Checking and comparing deposits’ data base with the balances exposed in the financial statements- Risk assessment of loans provided by the client, evaluating its clients repayment capacity through their financial ratios, credit ratings and debtors capital structure - Securities valuation, comparing market prices and the prices exposed by the financial sector of the entity (from the entity’s inventory of securities), with the prices and nominal value expressed in the financial statements. Depending on securities classification (according to their classification, fair value, fair value through OCI, or amortized cost).- Internal control interviews with senior managers and the board of directors in order to prevent fraud actions according with to the established policies and the operational risk committee - Mapping of internal control processes
