One of her key attributes is her ability to see opportunities in areas that others might overlook.Since 2017, Juanita has been an integral member of the Career Development Centre/Mentally Well Workplaces team. With a dynamic blend of strength, enthusiasm, empathy, and compassion, she actively collaborates with diverse industry sectors to address employee wellbeing needs, including career development and employee assistance counseling. Juanita employs a client-centered approach, crafting personalised strategies aligned with individual strengths, values, and aspirations. Her expertise shines in helping clients identify unique skill sets and translating them into meaningful career paths.2023 saw Juanita facilitating six groups in the 8-week Deakin Centre for Refugee Employment, Advocacy, Training, and Education (CREATE) program. This initiative played a pivotal role in supporting and training individuals from a refugee background, aiding them in rebuilding their careers after leaving their home country.
