Origins & Education: Born & raised in Minnesota.French major & Humanities minor at the University of Minnesota.French culture, language & history studies at the University of Neuchatel, Switzerland.Travels & Experience: Traveled extensively, including one of a 12-man crew sailing a 3-masted Topsail Schooner fromDenmark to Los Angeles. Lived in Denmark, Switzerland, Vermont, Los Angeles, San Francisco & Maui before moving to the Big Island in 1974.Hotel, restaurant & resort work on Maui & the Big Island.Worked on a cattle & horse ranch in Kohala and operated a Charter Fishing business in Kona.Real Estate licensee on the Big Island since 1989 & Broker’s license since 2005.Hobbies & Interests: Interested in a variety of outdoor sports, including: swimming, sailing, snorkeling, body boarding, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, bicycling, hiking with a keen interest in horses, especially riding treks world-wide.
