Working as a teacher for the Department of Architecture teaching 3rd year Architecture Design Studio, 1st year History of Western Architecture, 4th year Landscape Architecture Studio Elective, and 5th year Architecture Thesis Advisor. Additional responsibilities include participating in the re-design and standardization of said courses, coordinating the 3rd year of Architecture, career counseling, and conducting independent research on a range of topics from industrial urban heritage to the role of landscape in housing developments. Member of the Committee for Academic Freedom. Department Representative at IMPLANc Monterrey. Member of UDEM's Academic Senate 2018-2020.

As partner and director of landscape architecture at Urban Studio, I coordinate and supervise every aspect of our landscape projects, from Concept and Schematic Design, to Design Development, Construction Documentation, and Construction Administration. Our main focus is to enhance the natural potential of a site leveraging on its existing and native vegetation, local materials, and socio-urban context. Our expertise and projects range from the arid and semi-arid environments of Northern Mexico, to the humid rainforests of the Península Yucateca.

Working as an adjunct professor for the Department of Architecture teaching 4th year Architecture Design Studio and 1st year Computer Assisted Representation.

Working as a landscape designer performing a wide array of tasks, from schematic and conceptual design to construction administration. Participating in projects of different scale and scope, from residential to institutional and civic. Scottsdale´s Museum of the West and the Mesa City Center competition are a few of the projects I participated in while at Colwell Shelor.

Working as a designer for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Planning Office. Activities encompass site analysis at different scales under a landscape perspective, design proposals for Campus improvement, elaboration of diagrams and plans.

Working for Leire Asensio and David Mah, from Asensio+Mah, for the Europan Competition in Kalmar, Sweden. Work involved site research and analysis, regional planning and design, elaboration of plans, diagrams and digital models.

Working for a Civil Engineering chair of research (Cátedra de Desarrollo e Innovación de Procesos y Tecnologías de Vivienda), under Dr. Francisco Yeomans, providing support on different areas such as the implementation of new building technologies on the poorer communities of Mexico.

Teaching assistant of different architecture related software such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, and Adobe Photoshop.

Working with architects Rodrigo Maisterrena and Carlos Estrada in several projects from the conceptual design stage to the elaboration of plans, models and rendered perspectives.
