At QUINT Wellington Redwood, I am currently responsible for sourcing activities; Sourcing Strategy definition, Scoping of Outsourced services,Vendor management, RFP elaboration, Negotiation, Business Case elaboration and Benchmarking analysis with market standards in both price and quality perspectives. I'm also an expert in Strategic and Systems Planning to improve governance skills of customers and their effective support to business units. From the service management point of view I would highlight our work on Service Catalogue elaboration, SLAs definition and Service Oriented Cost Models.Another relevant activity where I'm involved at QUINT is the achievement of higher levels of efficiency and organizations transformation using Lean IT best practices.

At the "Control & Finance" department of TGT, I developed a service oriented cost model that will be used for business case ellaboration, cost structure analysis and chargeback modeling of IT services for Telefónica.

At the “Autonomic Communications Division”, I was project manager in the development of an innovative approach to NGN management. This approach was based on innovation around Autonomic Communications as a key technology for the future evolution of Operation Supports Systems.I've also collaborated in an IT transformation design through the adoption of Lean philosophy and, specifically, Agile methodologies and open source software. An ITIL approach to lean principles was applied to IT Service ManagementPatent Inventor. “Method and device for adaptive QoE measurement on videostreaming IP services”. Application presented to the Spanish patent office on the 5th April 2011.Design of an ITIL reference model for Telefónica's IT departments. And also a joint ITIL-eTOM process-oriented framework to apply IT best practises in a Telecom operator.Design of an Operational Systems (OSS) roadmap for Telefónica in order to face the new FMC environment (Fixed Mobile Convergence). I was leader of an initiative in customer oriented QoS management for GPRS and UMTS services at “Telefónica Móviles España”. As a result, a method to analyse and measure end to end quality of service (KQIs & KPIs) has been achieved. Coordination of Infrastructure and Application Consolidation projects at “Telefónica de España” for network SystemsCoordination, design, deployment and production of a Fault Management System for BroadBand IP Networks in Telefónica.At Telefonica I+D I have been involved in European research projects "FP7" such as EFIPSANS (http://www.efipsans.org) and UniverSelf (http://www.univerself-project.eu/) and I was also the Telefonica's delegate for the AFI ISG group at ETSI.

At University, I would like to mention my collaborations in the field of speech recognition. My first project on this field was about the application of neural networks to Speech Recognition systems. I worked there for two years until I finally published my final degree project entitled: "Robust Feature Extraction for coded speech recognition in noisy environments" which got an honor mention.
