MATHEMATICS - Course: Design of Instrument Flight Procedures - Conventional (PANS-OPS)

• Calculation and maintenance of runway analysis.• Takeoff and landing performance analysis - Fleets: E190 (Embraer ECAFM, Runway Analysis, Climbout), B737-700/-800/-8 (Boeing PET), A330 (Airbus PEP).• Loading of performance information into the flight plan system (LIDO).• Full design and implementation of takeoff procedures with one engine inoperative (EOSID).• Office and flight simulator validation of FMS coded EOSID procedures.• Assistance in flight simulator validation of PBN procedures.• Preparation of technical documentation for flight crews and dispatchers.• Operational feasibility analysis for new airports.• In-situ survey of obstacles with Leica TS09 Plus Total Station equipment.• Technical-theoretical instruction given to flight crews (courses taught: depressurization and descent after engine failure, RNP AR approaches, operational landing distance and use of autobrake, considerations on fuel management, considerations on EOSID encoded into FMS)• Weight tracking and fleet balance; calculation of operating weights.

• Analysis of applicability and implementation of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives.• Issuance of Engineering Orders for the Embraer 190 and MD-80 fleets.• Generation of parameter rationality reports – functional verification of Flight Data Recorder (FDR) according to RAAC (Argentinean Civial Aviation Regulations) and ICAO requirements.• Advice and technical support to the different sectors of the Technical Operations Department.• Generation of technical documentation for approval of special operations (CAT II, CAT IIIA, RVSM, RNAV, RNP APCH, RNP AR).• Updating and control of aircraft operational software.• FHDB / DVDR fault analysis.• Key User: Engineering reference user for the successful implementation of the “Swiss AS – AMOS” maintenance management computer system.• Technical instructor (courses taught: EO management in AMOS, SB/AD management in AMOS, p/n creation in AMOS, Technical Assistance)

Development of computer based systems aimed at Civil Aviation Authorities: "CAAMS" Suite, which included technical documentation, airworthines, traceability, certifications, training and aerospace medicine modules. Person resonsible of the project: Aeronautics Engineer Guillermo Iovino (ICAO).
