Worked on the Hilton HSIA Project from 2011-2015 performing surveys using Fluke Air Magnet and installations of WiFi networks using Cisco 2900, 3500 and 3700 switches, Cisco 1131, 1242, 1550, 1602, 2602 and Ruckus WAPs, Cisco 5508 Controller, Ruckus ZoneDirector 3000/5000 Controllers and Ruckus 7055 7982 WAPs at various Hilton branded hotels throughout the U.S.As Lead Field Engineer, I performed an Aastra VoIP phone roll out at Iowa State University deploying over 6,000 Aastra VoIP phones in 8 weeks with a team of 7 Field Techs. Worked as Lead Field Engineer, with 2 Field Techs during the Cisco VoIP phone deployment for The Home Depot stores in AZ, NM and West Texas. Led 3 Field Technicians at Tulane University deploying 3,000 Aastra VoIP phones in 5 weeks. Worked as Senior Field Engineer or Senior Network Engineer on many types of one-off projects.

Worked from home for 7 months with First Data performing remote config changes on live Cisco routers converting from dedicated T1 circuits to MPLS circuits and creating the as-built documentation in Visio. Worked as Project Coordinator and Senior Field Engineer for a Walgreens Fuji and NEC poster printer roll-out for 4 months. Assigned to the Hilton HSIA Project to perform surveys and installations of WiFi networks at various Hilton branded hotels throughout the U.S.

Worked on various contracting assignments within Technisource for various clients that included the installation of POS systems, product kiosks, servers and workstations, people counters, asset management systems and end user training. Along with developing process and procedures for various projects in POC and Pilot stages.My work consisted most notably on the Bank of America Network Refresh Project. Participated as a Lead Field Technician and Lead Field Technician Trainer coordinating site activity with the PMO and field techs during the Cisco switch and router refresh project across the nation. Assigned to the Bank of America VoIP Transformation Project on 11/04-06/09 and performed the roles of Lead Field Network Engineer, Lead Field Technician Trainer, and Field Resource Coordinator. This was the world’s largest private VoIP rollout with over 200,000 Cisco phones, routers and switches.

Assigned to the Qwest School's Facility Board Contract where I assisted in coordinating installation efforts between the school’s IT Staff, Project Managers, Management Leads, Network Engineers, Design Engineers and Network Installation Team. Implementing Cisco Catalyst Switches and Cisco routers with data circuits and providing as built documents.

•Performed project planning and installation of Cisco based infrastructure for multi-site WAN including, Cisco 1600/2600/3600 routers, Catalyst 1900/2924/3500 and 5000 switches and Aironet wireless devices, Shiva RAS, HP hubs and switches, and Kentrox CSU/DSUs.•Managed/trained the PC Technicians Team that performed break/fix duties at the desktop level.•Deployed Windows 2000 OS to 400+ workstation within 30-day timeline.•Interfaced with customers and vendors regarding T1/frame relay ckts between sites.•Assisted in Y2K testing and certification project and ISO 9001 documentation creation of existing processes.•Served as a vendor relation’s manager with Microsoft, Cisco, Novell, Compaq, Toshiba, Network Associates and other preferred vendors and contractors.•Assisted management in developing software licensing practices for in-house use.•Implemented LAN and WAN monitoring systems (CWSI, CiscoWorks 2000, HP Top Tools, SNMP) and maintained over 150 LAN/WAN devices.
