Commodity Manager of Castings,Metals and Raw Materials for Latin America.•Responsible of the supply chain strategy of FSG in LA region, managing the following commodities: Metals & Raw Materials, Foundry, Castings, metal fabrications, stamping parts, machining, valves and others to produce Pumps and Mechanical Seals to the energy industry.•Actively participation in global upcoming projects to find new cost opportunities and increase the supply base development in Latin America.•In charge of the sourcing strategy in the facilities of FSG in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, working closely with the corporate and facilities main staff to present and implement the commercial strategy in the LA Region.•Managing a purchase spend of $750 M USD in the LA region and working with more than 150 suppliers.•Actively participates of the contract negotiation and commercial agreements within the sourcing area.•Negotiate targeted contract reductions as needed per annual contract.•Forecast potential impacts on Metals & raw materials at an international level as well as anticipate project development and implementation of cost reduction. •Led ongoing negotiations with suppliers for continuous improvement related to cost, quality, service and improved purchasing conditions to achieve predetermined objectives as ( OTD, Consignment, Low Inventory level, etc)•Continuous benchmarks analysis around the world to find new savings and low cost countries opportunities
