At the end of my academic career and the beginning of my professional career I was involved with renewable energy (solar and wind) projects.For several years I’ve been working on a daily basis promoting sustainable development and social commitment not only in my personal life but also in the companies in which I had the opportunity to work; For more than 4 years I’ve followed a plant-based diet with the aim of reducing my water and carbon footprint; For 5 years I’ve held leadership positions in environmental education and action NGOs, where I worked on issues of circular economy, ecological restoration, sustainable development goals, adaptation and mitigation of climate change, climate science, energy efficiency and conservation of biodiversity among other things.In 2023 I graduated as an electronic engineer and joined Holcim through their Engineering Talent Program (LATAM - NA Early career program). The main reasons were the values and the strong environmental and social commitment it proposes through its communication channels. When I joined the company I began to learn about decarbonization, sustainability and social action strategies and I was able to know for myself the magnitude of this commitment. I am very excited and motivated to feel part of this organization and to be able to collaborate with these objectives. That’s why I’m actively seeking opportunities to leverage my engineering skills and sustainability passion to contribute to Holcim's decarbonization strategy, particularly in energy and CCUS.
