Responsible for the engineering, capacity planning, evaluation of technical feasibility, budgeting, growth execution, performance optimization and deployment of new functionalities for Packet Core, Value Added Services (VAS) & IoT Core platforms according to the strategic objectives of the company.

Responsible for the evaluation of technical feasibility, budgeting, growth execution, performance optimization and deployment of new functionalities for Value Added Services, IoT and Cloud platforms according to the strategic objectives of the company. Leading a team of 26 people. Among my main achievements are:• Standardization of private clouds that host Core Network Elements into a single consolidated cloud solution (RHOSP).• Migration of Bare Metal VAS Platforms to NFV solutions.• Responsible for the design and implementation of the product “Connected Car” in the AT&T México Core Network working with some of the main car manufacturers in the world (Ford, Nissan, Volvo,Renault, etc).• Implementation of a fully virtualized packet core supporting IoT subscribers.• Participated in the evaluation and implementation of LPWA technologies (LTE-M and NB-IoT).• Supported the integration of enterprise customers to AT&T IoT platforms.

Working as responsible for the implementation of IoT platform, Location based services, Content Delivery Caches, Video Compression and SpeedTest platforms designing their architecture, capacity planning, expansions and third level support. Coordinating a team of 10 people. Some of the mainprojects in charge were:• Implementation of a hosted platform that supports the full life cycle of IoT Subscribers (Jasper Control Center).• Consolidation of VAS platforms from legacy Iusacell and Nextel Networks.• Implementation of Location services for the Emergency E911 service.• Implementation of video compression and caching platforms generating significant reduction in ISP traffic.• Implementation of Google, Netflix, Facebook and Akamai caching solutions for the optimization of ISP traffic.• AdHoc solutions to validate and configure Network Elements (PL/SQL, Java, Shell scripting).

Providing support as a database administrator in the certification area (QA) of the prepaid platform supporting Telefónica Móviles (Altamira) serving clients from different countries in Central and South America. Among my main activities were the following:• Ensure the availability and performance of the database systems used for the validation and certification of new functionalities of the Telefonica prepaid platform.• Supporting implementation of new functionalities in production systems.• Cloning of production database in QA and development environments.• Design and implementation of backup and recovery strategies using RMAN.• Implementation and management of Oracle software (Oracle database, RAC, Grid control, Data Guard, Golden Gate, Audit Vault, etc)
