Working with the Communications Coordinator and the various departments throughout the library, I assisted with the development and marketing of events, initiatives, and internal and external communications for the North Vancouver District Public Library's three branches.Engaged in vendor relations as the Library prepared for a brand refresh and updated marketing collateral was needed.Helped design signage, communications plan, and social media copy for COVID-19 Phase 3 communications at all three branches.

As an editorial intern at BCBusiness, I was responsible for writing and editing various stories both for BCBusiness.ca and for print. Additionally, I researched and fact-checked stories to ensure accuracy in reporting. I also updated the daily newsletter, ensuring the content is up to date and creating engaging headlines and decks for each story.

I performed media outreach to various types of outlets so as to acquire coverage for our clients' stories, matching up the publication's style with the interest and focal point of this story. Additionally, I assisted in managing and monitoring the social media accounts for Conscious PR and ensuring we maintain a presence and post relevant content to our base. I also wrote content for the company's "Tribute Tuesday" blog and performed research on media outlets in order to compile a media list.
