I am an Industrial Management Engineer from the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Spain) and hold an EMBA from IESE Business School (Madrid, Spain). With over 15 years of experience, both as a Project Manager in innovation projects for a large corporation and in a pioneering startup, I have demonstrated my ability to adapt and focus on the specific needs of each business challenge while fostering motivation and alignment within the team to achieve our goals. My experience with Iberico began in 2016 when I joined Acornseekers, an innovative project that introduced Iberico pig farming to the U.S. in Texas. I played a key role in establishing the business, leading operations, production, logistics, business development, and sales across the entire U.S. market. Over time, Acornseekers evolved into Loriente Family Foods, allowing us to strengthen our presence and continue expanding in the American market under the umbrella of Incarlopsa, one of Spain’s leading pork producers. As COO of Loriente Family Foods, I now lead the operations and commercialization of Iberico and cured pork products in the United States. My goal is to position products such as Iberico pork, Iberico ham, and Serrano ham in the U.S. market, highlighting not only their exceptional quality but also the care and dedication behind every step of the process, from their origin to the table.
