Juan is a professional with over 38 years of humanitarian experience, 16 of which have been within international organizations at operational as well as strategic and policy levels at global, regional and national levels. His experience includes various senior management and governance positions at national and international levels. He has worked in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Europe and has lived in the following countries: Mexico, Canada, United States, Japan, Mozambique, Kenya, Switzerland, UK, Nicaragua and Thailand.His experience also includes almost 20 years as a senior consultant for over 30 international and national organisations providing consulting services in over 60 countries. As an experienced facilitator Juan has a proven track record of creating conducive learning environments where innovative and simple solutions meet complex challenges in multicultural environments. Clients will bring him onboard when there is a need to focus groups of people to assess situations, identify issues and generate solutions to complex organizational challenges. His own managerial experience, coupled with his facilitation skills and understanding of the dynamics of organizations allow Juan to understand the client’s needs and develop processes to meet those needs.Juan is also an Executive Coach (licensed on “Leadership Effectiveness Assessment” by the Management Research Group in USA) with years of experience coaching humanitarian and social development senior managers and leaders in Russia, Nepal, Switzerland, West and East Africa, as well as in Latin America and Caribbean.
