I have more than 30 years of management experience in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Today, I serve as the President of the Institute of Public Relations Singapore, a vibrant community of PR & Communications professionals.I was the chief executive of a non-profit organisation set up to develop cultural diplomacy between countries. Prior roles include: managing director and regional chief executive of an award winning public relations agency; director of marcom for an arts management company; centre director for an arts space that promotes Singapore artists/art history; and search director for a global executive search firm. My passion is in organisational well-being where people and process are in harmony and my strength is in the appreciation of individuals, society and diversity amidst an evolving social-economic and communications culture. Areas of expertise includes positive communications, people development and personal performance coaching. I believe in a solutions approach to work and life’s challenges. By taking a simple and direct path to solutions, I help individuals and organisations to uncover strengths and resources to make progress and influence the future.I have a Masters in Organisational Leadership (Monash University) and a Bachelor in Arts in Literature & Language (National University of Singapore). I am also a Masters Solutions Focused Practitioner and holds a Specialist Diploma in Counseling Psychology. I developed “8lueprint (2019)” - a concise approach to corporate and communications planning and published a tool-book titled “One Dish Wonder: A Simple Recipe To Manage Communications Risks (2011)”. I am an Accredited Member of the Institute of Public Relations Singapore.
