My filmmaking experience has been a journey of creativity and social impact, driven by my passion for storytelling. One of my most significant projects was the documentary Slang: Rohingya Narrative, where I explored how the term "Rohingya" transformed from a derogatory insult to a common slang used on the streets of Dhaka. The film delves into the social perceptions around this term and questions its widespread usage. It was recognized at the Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival, which was a proud moment for me. This project helped me hone my skills in research, direction, and production, and reinforced my belief in the power of storytelling to give a voice to the voiceless and spark important conversations.
