My journey to where I am today has been nothing short of Proverbs 16:9, God has established my steps far from what I had planned. He has taken what I thought was my greatest weakness and insecurity which was speaking and is using it for His glory. As a Youth Minister at Ignite Church, the Lord has equipped me to build meaningful relationships, share the gospel of Jesus every week and lead a group of amazing volunteers. Apart from Sundays, I also get the opportunity to create a lasting impact on the community I serve. At Beaufort County Schools, my role as a Physical Education Teacher at Chocowinity Middle School, I get to channel my passion for health and mentorship into fostering youth development. God has taught me over this last year of teaching and preaching that He is full of grace and faithful to deliver us, and excited to continue trusting in what the Lord is doing in this season and how he is preparing me for the next.
