Alumni from the Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Lucknow – Jubin started his career with Grand Hyatt Delhi. His Sagittarian instincts impelled him to venture out on the seas with his profession which added an impetus to his decision. Jubin spent five years on most celebrated cruise liners – P&O Princess Cruises, Santa Clarita (US).Working with cruise liners exposed Jubin to a foray of cultures, living styles, regular habits, and social customs and of course – Food! Jubin has travelled to more than 50 countries and has gained expertise in American, Continental, Mexican, West Asian and Indian Culinary Forms – though his forte remains Italian cookery. Over the period he has managed diverse responsibilities of managing multi-outlet and high volume operations, price structuring & cost containment, team building & training, special event planning, quality control, safety & sanitation, inventory & purchasing, and guest relations. He in turn gained considerable amount of experience in fine dine specialty restaurant, bulk preparations, room service kitchen and outdoor caterings. He is presently working for TOAST Bar & Grill by Lazeez Affaire, New Delhi (a world-cuisine lounge) as a Corporate Chef. There his work got appreciated by a lot of media, food magazines/journals, and even cookery shows to a great extent by way of his finger-licking dishes.Specialties: Chef Jubin’s cooking theory emphasizes more on grilling and roasting, rather than counting calories.
