Judah focuses on leveraging cutting edge technology tools and machine learning to improve healthcare delivery and insurance. He believes that more effectively utilizing the deep data present within healthcare transactions is the key to aligning the incentives of patients, providers, and payors. As an actuarial and data science executive who has served in a variety of roles within finance and technology, he brings a unique perspective toward how to enact this transformation.Judah served as Clover Health’s Chief Actuary and Chief Data Officer. In this capacity, he oversaw Clover’s actuarial, analytics and data science functions. His key accomplishments in this role include oversight of all data science and machine learning efforts behind Clover’s flagship product - the Clover Assistant, transforming traditional health actuarial functions to run with fewer operators on a modern computing platform, and providing deep analytical support to all aspects of Clover’s risk adjustment activities. Prior to joining Clover, Judah was Assistant Vice President of Actuarial Services at Innovacare Health, a Medicare Advantage company servicing more than 200,000 enrollees in Puerto Rico. In this role, he built out an actuarial team supporting all core actuarial functions including pricing, reserving, and forecasting. In addition to these responsibilities, Judah provided direct support to upper management for strategic activities including M&A and lobbying.Before joining Innovacare, Judah worked as an actuary for Deloitte Consulting and Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield.Judah is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He is an inaugural winner of the 2019 NJ Digi-Tech Innovators Award.
