During my time with Manpower, I have recruited and trained 20 new recruiters, 4 of which are now Managers themselves. Through my career I have achieved top sales figures and won awards for business development, with successes in gaining a sole provider status with a government body, and been part of a team tendering for 2 UK wide contracts with blue chip companies which were won amounting to a growth of £35 million in the first year of implementation.

Promoted into Strategic Clients (On-site Contracts), I was approached to be responsible for a number of sites for Manpower’s client Unilever. The position has grown considerably during my term in this role starting with 5 sites and now being responsible for 15 sites around the UK, responsible for a sales budget of £17 million to achieve in 2010. I was recruited to turn around a branch that had been running at a loss for approx 4 years. The branch was turning over just under £1000 gross profit per week, I have developed the team, who were very de-motivated, and with my lead as example, we have brought the branch up to achieving £9000 gross profit per week. One of my successes was being involved in collaboration with a blue chip company, which was implementing an e-procurement system to ensure ease of staff requirement. I was involved in the pre-assessments to this system going live throughout the country and the company on 35 sites. Unfortunately the company was factoring the funding and due to fast growth, the outgoings with wages, against speed of account retrieval, forced the company into liquidation.
