The Pentagon

Developed strategies and programs to build partner nation CT capacity under a key Presidential initiative and Department of Defense authorities while synchronizing interagency plans and directives; successfully developed nearly $1B in strategically significant CT programs, briefed to Congressional committees, and approved and implemented.

Hand-selected over nearly 70 peers to direct operations of both a Special Forces Group of over 2,400 Soldiers and a Joint Task Force of over 350 personnel conducting combat operations; planned and directed hundreds of operations while integrating joint, interagency, and intergovernmental elements into regional campaign plans to ensure successful attainment.

Commanded a Special Forces Company and subsequently two Joint Task Forces of over 180 personnel geographically dispersed over ten outstations conducting combat advisory operations of thousands of partner military forces; refined strategic concepts for enduring engagement to maintain operational momentum and prevent security deterioration.

The Pentagon

Served as the primary Joint Staff Iraq Operations Officer responsible for drafting, coordinating, and executing orders for worldwide military operations and monitoring the strategic environment while providing expert advice to senior decision-makers to support policy decisions; subsequently served as a Special Operations Action Officer for the Army Staff.

Okinawa, Japan

Served in various capacities, to include Commander, of a Special Forces Crisis Response Force of nearly 100 personnel responsible for conducting special operations in the Middle East and Asia to include time-sensitive counter-terrorism missions; selected from 100 Captains as the MacArthur Leadership nominee for 1st Special Forces Group and one of 20.

Commanded a 40-man Platoon and served as a Company Executive Officer and Battalion Staff Officer for an Airborne Infantry Battalion; key operational planner for the initial entry into Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom after being selected for Special Forces.
