As team leader it was Alex's job to roster and supervise four RWC lifeguards each day over the peck summer period in Victoria between two coverage areas. Being the central bay area and northern bay area. Alex would also perform operational shifts as part of this role to remain highly skilled in RWC operation in all water and wind conditions.

As a Beach Lifeguard Alex has worked along a large part of the Victorian coast between Lakes Entrance in the East and as far west as Apollo Bay, performing to many rescues and first aid cases to count. Alex has been involved in a number of mass rescue events and critical first aid cases. Alex loves being able to pass on his knowledge that he has gained from surfing and spending time in the water his whole life onto members of the public so that they are able to safely spend their time at the beach with there family's.

At TBR Alex worked with the Development mogul group, coaching all aspects of snow skiing but focusing on skills development for the Winter Olympic discipline of Moguls and Slooestyle. Working with athletes between 14 and 16 years old is a challenge where clear and measurable goals need to be set so that athletes can see and feel improvement.

In his role at Life Saving Victoria, Alex is involved with the management of operational lifesaving rescue equipment. Including Inshore Rescue Boats, Rescue Water Craft, Offshore Rescue Boats, manual lifesaving equipment and various other critical lifesaving first aid resources.
