In 2007 I co-founded Intellidemia, a firm specializing in enterprise systems for higher education. We introduced Concourse, the industry’s first syllabus management platform for organizing, sharing, and analyzing course information. As CEO, I took Intellidemia’s vision from concept to commercialization by overseeing system architecture, interface design, quality assurance, operations, marketing, sales, hiring, financing, intellectual property, and strategy. My greatest passion lies at the cross-section of product and business development. I continue to play an integral part in translating customer requirements into technical specifications, designing implementation solutions, and providing consulting and support. In addition to focusing on current clients, I spend my time generating leads, attending trade shows, advancing prospects, and negotiating deals.Prior to founding Intellidemia, I worked for General Motors as an electrical engineer across five different product areas: concepts, development, testing, manufacturing, and program management. I also spent time as a test engineer for Lutron Electronics, a lighting control manufacturer.I graduated first in my class from Rensselaer with bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and management. I then completed a distinctive MBA program between Rensselaer and Albany Law where I focused on technology commercialization and business law.I’ve always been told that entrepreneurship runs in my blood, and I can think of no better or more rewarding career than to dedicate myself to commercializing technologies and turning entrepreneurial visions into viable, successful realities.Specialties: Technology commercialization, Product management, Strategic planning and execution, Business development, Enterprise sales, Requirement definition, Specification writing, Client relationships, Prototyping, System architecture and design, Test engineering, Quality assurance.
