Covering stores across Scotland. Coaching of new and existing RVMM’s, Store VM, Commercial and Salesfloor Managers

As the Divisional VM Manager of the Eastern Division I currently cover 83 stores across Scotland, Northern Ireland, North East, Midlands & South East Regions and manage 14 Visual Trainers in the above areas. My day to day responsibilities are coaching my VT team in VM standards and the planning of regional VT support for stores to enhance VM standards across my division. I also manage & support all opening and refurbishments of stores on the Eastern division including model store, projects & trails.

Covered 20 stores across North West of England & Wales from 2005-2007, Then Covered 22 stores across Scotland and Northern Ireland from 2007-2011Project Manage all store openings and refurbishments in my region and support in other regions when requireCoaching of new and existing RVMM’s, Store VM’s, Commercial and Salesfloor Managers.Develop & update company VM & Merchandising guidelines when required. Support model store set up for company and roll out model store set up in my Region per season.

Liaise with Buying Teams to provide floor layout information to the chain for each season including window & focal lines.Set up of all ladieswear seasonal adjacencies and layouts to chief executive and buying directors. Collate feedback from Regional teams to relevant departments at H/ODesigning new shop floor and window equipment and project manageWorking with the marketing and POS teams on new style window formats

Part of a Non Food Visual Team covering two Superstore groups from Worcestershire to Southwest Wales.Upskill Store Managers & Senior teams on merchandising standards in clothing and hard goods.Evaluating stores & recognising training needs.Preparing training workshops for the non-food office.Planning & reviewing store layouts.Managing all Refits and Store openings on my group.
