Working with Dr. Aminoff to conduct advanced research utilizing EEG technology to explore the neural mechanisms underlying visual perception and memory. My role involved designing and executing experiments, collecting and analyzing EEG data, and contributing to interpreting findings. I collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to advance our understanding of cognitive processes and aim to present research results in academic settings.

Working with research professor Dr. Yea Won Park & Dr. Cecila Fisher on two different projects to explore the correlation between Asian American parenting styles and their subversive generational effects on risk-taking behavior and how family recognition through achievement and cultural values relate to online risk-taking among AAPI, Black, and Hispanic college students.

Assists with shelving and organizing books, checking materials in and out, and helping students and faculty locate resources while also supporting administrative tasks and library programs as needed.

Completed the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfied all registration, licensing, and certification requirements according to the NYS Board of Pharmacy guidelines. accurately filled prescriptions, managed inventory, and provided exceptional customer service. I also processed and verified prescriptions, educated patients on medication use, and ensured compliance with regulatory standards.

Created and facilitated events in regard to art, queerness, sciences, and creativity. Reapplied for senior year and was promoted to senior member. Interviewed various queer artists on a variety of topics.

Tutored numerous students in both a class setting and one on one setting in regards to English, Grammar, and Applied Mathematics along with test prep for the SHSAT.

Worked in conjunction with two other interns under the mentorship of two professors to research Egyptian species of crocodiles whilst utilizing the coding language R, to create species distribution models and maps. Was required to take two 4-week programs to meet the requirements to apply to the internship.

Created extracurricular curriculums for low-income families to provide students in grades 3-6 opportunities to pursue interests and build communities that they didn’t have access to prior. Inducted and taught incoming students how to create their own curriculums. Acted as an advisor, mentor, and coach for the newer students, preparing them to apply to other programs and extracurriculars.

Worked in conjunction with other interns to create bioinformatics projects using python to resemble the spread of COVID-19 while learning advanced python skills and in-depth physiology and microeconomics.
