At Meta, I drove a high-impact full-stack project to add cross-app user mentions from scratch a week ahead of schedule. I worked across stacks and added GraphQL endpoints that implemented a unified data framework between Facebook and Instagram. I also designed a new internal iOS library to handle cross-app network interfacing between client and server.

I created an automation pipeline for firewall objects using Bash Scripting and Github Actions. I also employed the Infrastructure-as-Code paradigm to codify network infrastructure using Terraform. In my pipeline, I cut the time it took to pull network objects from the database by 97% when I switched from the traditional method of pulling via REST APIs to pulling with GraphQL. The overall pipeline reduced the time to integrate network objects into the firewall by 99%, and also helped shift toward a Singular Source of Truth for network objects to reduce drift.Past the automation pipeline, with the help of my mentor and another engineer, I also established a standard for secret management by using Hashicorp Vault.
