Throughout my experience with this Canadian onshore seismic data company, I presided over all aspects of the corporation's financial health and accounting. The company represents 50% of all market share in Canada for the seismic data industry. I also adopted complete oversight of Seitel Canada's entire Human Resources function.Among some of my notable contributions, I:• Reported directly to the President of Seitel Canada, with a mandate to manage teams, strategic direction and core priorities to ensure the organization remains financially accountable.• Championed a complex and substantial restructuring upon the amalgamation of six Canadian entities and two US entities.• Served as the source of approval for all aspects of full-cycle accounting including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Financial Reporting & Analysis, and other functions.• Earned valuable experience in the acquisition and subsequent divestiture of a smaller entity.• Designed, implemented and tested financial and systems controls necessary for the sustainability and integrity of all accounting and finance.• Upheld executive oversight of human resources strategy and operations, with attention to full-cycle recruitment, right-sizing and restructuring.

After strong performance as a Controller for Indian operations, I assumed a newly-created role upon returning to Canada, fulfilling the duties of Assistant Controller responsible for the comprehensive review of balance sheets, segment reports and P&L as part of reporting to the US Head Office.

I capitalized on this rare and privileged opportunity to serve as an all-encompassing Controller for an entire national GeoMarket, representing all six business segments in India. My core mandate was to preside over the total operating mandate encompassing Tax, Treasury, Payables, Revenues, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Supply Chain, and all procurement processes.Among some of my core contributions, I:• Thrived in the midst of this GeoMarket's growth in business volume by over 300% in only 24 months, which strengthened my maturity and resilience as a Controller.• Secured, developed and managed a high-performing financial team of 30 personnel, allocated across several national headquarters.• Managed Indian efforts to launch a new ERP platform, in line with the benchmarks set globally for this initiative.
