Key responsibilities:- Management of the observation process, to monitor the quality of education institution wide.- Conducting developmental observations for FE, HE, Online courses and Apprenticeship provisions- Design and implementation of accurate and effective systems, to record and report on data related to the quality of teaching across all provisions to SMT, SLT and Governors.- Planning and delivering CPD training and development sessions for academic staff, that are responsive and fit for purpose.- Providing extensive support to new and experienced teachers through an internal coaching and mentoring offer, both 1-1 and in group settings, to develop their pedagogical skills and knowledge.- Monitor teaching staff’s progression of knowledge and skills through use of development plans and coaching sessions.- Creating the curriculum, lessons and resources for formal internal Teacher Training to equip new and unqualified teachers with required skills and knowledge.- Working in collaboration with HR and SLT to identify and implement an ongoing calendar of professional development opportunities for academic staff.- Work closely with HR to coordinate academic inductions for new academic staff, ensuring an informative, welcoming and thorough support offer.

Key responsibilities: ​- Managing the largest course at the academy, with 400+ students- Responsible for course delivery, curriculum design and resources to ensure the quality of teaching.- Responsible for a large teaching team- Monitoring of teaching, learning and assessment though learning walks and observations- Provide coaching, mentoring and support to teaching staff. ​- Management of KPI’s including attendance, achievement and retention.​- Working collaboratively across departments including Student services, Marketing and SLT.- Maintaining and ensuring quality of provision, including assessment, standardisation, IV and EM procedures- Ensure compliance with awarding body regulations. ​- Experience of delivering Level 2 and 3 qualifications for awarding bodies including UAL, BTEC and ABC.​- Support student progression aims into FE and HE courses. ​- Subject specialisms include Career development, Fashion business, Retail environments, Customer services and Entrepreneurship in Retail. ​- An innovative teacher, confident and enthusiastic to use and test new technologies within the classroom environment. ​- Successfully designed, planned and delivered a full timetable of lessons and assignment projects for remote delivery during the pandemic, with proven student engagement and high attendance to virtual lessons. ​- Experience of creating courses using VLE’s Moodle and Canvas.

- Delivery of learning to students aged 16+ studying towards UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Fashion Business & Retail, and previously the ABC Level 2 Fashion Retail Diploma.- Units taught include Starting a small business, Fashion Retailing, Understanding retailing, Managing a business event, Career Development, Customer services in the retail environment.

Key responsibilities: ​- Maintain up-to-date understanding of awarding body qualification standards. ​- Monitor and quality assure assessment decisions by approved UAL delivery partners.- Conduct external moderation activity, both virtual and in-person.- Work effectively with staff at approved centres to conduct external moderation activities.​- Produce clear and accurate external moderation reports within a timely manner. ​

- Managing a team of tutors and work based assessors; Supporting delivery of the A1 qualification- Teaching classroom sessions delivering Customer Services Theory - Working with employers to secure industry work experience for Apprentices- Managing the day to day educational provision at the academy- Assist with quality assurance of portfolios in line with awarding body requirements- Group tutor with overall responsibility for 46 Apprentices- Marking and assessing Apprentice work- Giving feedback and motivating through reviews and personal development

- Training long term unemployed clients in employability soft skills such as CV writing, interview techniques and Cover letters- Providing support and 1-2-1 guidance for a diverse group of clients- Flexible to train both FTET and Gateway to Work customers referred from Jobcentre Plus- Successful in achieving job rates relevant to each course- Planning, preparing and delivering sessions over a 2 week and 13 week course- Motivating clients to prepare them for re-entry into the workplace- Completing paperwork both internal and external accurately and within given deadlines

- Delivery of Train 2 Gain in Customer Services Level 2 and Retail Routes in Work Co-ordination in collaboration with JobCentre.
