Graduate Accountant
CurrentAs a Graduate Accountant in the manufacturing industry, I support our finance team by contributing to various financial operations and gaining hands-on experience across accounting functions. Working closely with senior accountants and finance managers, I help ensure financial accuracy, assist in budget management, and support cost analysis efforts within a dynamic production environment.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Analysis: I prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, performing variance analysis to track and control production costs and operational expenses.Accounts Payable & Receivable: I manage AP/AR functions, process invoices, and reconcile vendor accounts, ensuring our supply chain operates smoothly with timely, accurate financial transactions.Budgeting & Forecasting: I assist with budgets, forecasts, and financial projections, gathering data and analyzing trends to support our financial planning process.Cost Accounting: I work on tracking production costs and inventory valuation, providing insights to improve cost efficiency and supporting key decisions in raw materials and labor usage.Compliance & Internal Controls: I help maintain strong internal controls and adhere to financial policies and regulations, often participating in internal audits.Cross-functional Collaboration: Working alongside production, procurement, and inventory teams, I ensure alignment on financial data, supporting continuous improvement projects to streamline processes.Through this role, I’m developing a strong foundation in accounting principles specific to the manufacturing sector, enhancing my analytical and technical skills, and gaining valuable experience with budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting.
