As a Graduate Assistant Manager, my roles and responsibilities are all encompassing within the south west. I have the opportunity to be a part of a strong, commercially minded team focusing on the management of a variety of different woodlands and forests. I take on the role of carrying out all manner of forest mensuration, environmental site surveys, contractor management, woodland management plans including the use of mobile and desktop mapping software to create supporting maps, harvesting of smallscale and large scale woodlands, restocking, pest control and roading. I also take the lead in a number of different, small scale woodland management contracts we have for the private and public sector which involves making management decisions on how best to promote the objectives and desires of the woodland owner.

Joined as a Green Graduate and worked as a Interim Golf Course Manager at Richmond Golf Course in London, as a Recycling Performance Supervisor and later a Contract Supervisor at Glendale's Street Cleansing and Grounds maintenance contract in Weston Super Mare working for North Somerset County Council. And Lastly as Service Delivery Manager for Countryside Estate Management contract based in Marlborough serving a variety of short term contracts across the south of England.
