As a clinician at Montefiore Medical Center, I deliver evidence-based interventions for very young children and their families, such as Group Attachment Based Intervention (GABI), psychotherapy, and dyadic psychotherapy. I work with families who are referred through Administration for Children's Services Preventive agencies, providing assessments, treatment plans, weekly therapy, and care coordination. I have gained direct experience working at a substance use treatment center as an intern, where I conducted group therapy and individual counseling sessions using a harm reduction approach.I hold a master's degree in mental health counseling/counselor from City University of New York-College of Staten Island, where I graduated in 2022. I also have a bachelor's degree in psychology from the same institution, where I graduated in 2019. My education has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to provide effective and compassionate mental health services to diverse and underserved populations. My core competencies include health and wellness, small group counseling, and group therapy.I am passionate about using my outstanding professional attitude and empathetic mindset to provide genuine caring connections to my community.
