I received NABCEP certification in 2008 and all told, I’ve worked on over 200 PV systems ranging is size from 5kW to 35MW in every roll possible. I am extremely well rounded in PV and possess an intimate knowledge of all aspects of Photovoltaics from sales, design, engineering, permitting, hands-on labor for electrical systems and both roof and ground mounted arrays, construction and project management, owner’s representative, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. Throughout my career I have built and managed a number of successful businesses. Most notably was Solardelphia (later known as RE2G) a solar photovoltaic company that sold, designed, engineered, constructed and maintained residential, commercial and industrial solar PV systems. From a meager start in January 2002, working out of my garage, I built the company to encompass multiple locations serving PA, NJ, DE, NY, and MA. By 2010, Solardelphia had 28 employees, and revenues exceeding $10.6 million. In 2010 Solardelphia built a 3.25MW industrial solar PV system for Knouse Foods, makers of Musselman’s applesauce. At the time of completion, it was one of the top 25 largest systems in the country. The exponential growth experienced by Solardelphia did not go unnoticed. Solardelphia/ RE2G won multiple business awards including 24th Place in Inc. Magazine’s 2011 “Inc. 500, America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies”. Solardelphia also won 2nd and 3rd Places respectively in Philadelphia Business Journal’s “Philadelphia 100” in 2010 and 2011. I also personally won a Philadelphia Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award in 2011. I exited RE2G in late 2012 but continued providing consulting services as an Owner’s Rep, Project Manager, or Construction Manager for large commercial solar PV projects throughout the northeast and California. Of those were 7 Macy’s rooftop projects in the Los Angeles area where SunPower was the GC. I was contracted and flown in by UMC Power to get the projects organized and back on track for fiscal-year-end completion, inspection, and commissioning. I also project managed 7 Macy’s rooftop projects in NY state as a subcontracted consultant for UMC Power.
