Since joining JAMS as a mediator and arbitrator, he has utilized his settlement skills to resolve many complex commercial disputes and has rendered numerous decisions as an arbitrator, judge pro tem, and discovery referee.In addition, Judge Mayeda has settled or arbitrated a myriad of employment matters with respect to discrimination related to age, national origin, sexual orientation, and pregnancy. He has also dealt with issues pertaining to the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), sexual harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, and the California Family Rights Act (CFRA).
