My purpose is to empower business students, especially newcomers, by helping them develop a winning mindset.Here’s my story:🌍In 2018, I arrived in Canada as an asylum seeker with my mother. New country, new culture, new languages – everything was different. After graduating high school in 2019, I faced a major obstacle that many asylum seekers encounter: "Not being able to pursue post-secondary studies." Coming from a family that deeply values higher education, this was a challenging time for me.However, through consuming self-development materials, I began developing a positive and proactive mindset. I realized that while there are things I can't control, I should focus on what I can. This shift in perspective led to many positive changes in my life.Along the way, I’ve seized amazing opportunities in both the profit and non-profit sectors, working and volunteering in hospitals, shelters, federal government, financial institutions… These roles have given me a unique perspective on the world, allowing me to understand the diverse needs of different communities. Fast forward to 2024:🌟I'm now a 4th year Accounting and Finance student who landed her dream internship at Deloitte; founded LEagler a non-profit organization led by amazing immigrants and newcomers on a mission to empower our fellow young professional immigrants.______________________________________________________________________________________________________________Life outside of study and work🌍 Building a community of Future Leaders.
