Prior to the UN, she worked in market research consultancy in NZ, Croatia and the UK, delivering tailored research for a variety of private and public sector clients. Currently, she is a Senior Evaluation Officer at the Independent Oversight Mechanism (IOM) of the International Criminal Court (ICC) delivering corporate, thematic, strategic and programme evaluations. She has contributed in developing an evaluation practice, principles and policy at the Court. During 2018, she was the Acting Head of the IOM, managing the investigation, inspection and evaluation mandates, office staff and the budget.At ICAO, she established the first-ever Evaluation Policy to strengthen the evaluation function in the organisation. She designed, conducted, managed and successfully completed a number of corporate, programme and project evaluations, including leading evaluation missions (e.g. Evaluation of Results-Based Management at ICAO in 2014, Evaluation of the Comprehensive Regional Implementation Plan for Aviation Safety in Africa in 2015).At the Food and Agriculture Organization, she provided centralised advice and quality assurance to internal evaluations, conducted evaluations and other assessments, and co-ordinated a corporate results-based management learning programme.At the World Food Programme, she analyzed key organizational outcomes and drafted the Annual Performance Report on organizational results in 2008. Acting Head Of The Independent Oversight Mechanism (Iom)
The Independent Oversight Mechanism (IOM) is responsible for conducting evaluations, inspections and internal investigations.As the Acting Head of the IOM, I have taken on the additional responsibilities of managing staff and the IOM budget, as well as reporting responsibilities to the governing bodies of the ICC. I have also managed issues concerning (administrative) internal investigations at the preliminary stage, in consultation with the IOM Associate Investigator.About the ICC:The ICC investigates and, where warranted, tries individuals charged with the gravest crimes of concern to the international community: genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity. Through international criminal justice, the Court aims to hold those responsible accountable for their crimes and to help prevent these crimes from happening again. The ICC is governed by an international treaty called the Rome Statute, and it is the world’s first permanent international criminal court.
