I lead on work that helps maximise the income and impact of enterprise activity and provide advice and support on scoping and developing commercially viable opportunities.I have over 20 years business experience, working both in and with industry, with particular specialisms in facilitation of innovation growth programmes for small to medium sized enterprise and social enterprise development.

Led the creation, development and implementation of a tailored SME innovation growth programme. Provided strategic leadership for the University in relationship and programme development between academic leads, Schools and project partner Plus X Innovation, and responsible for the successful delivery of the ERDF funded Brighton Research Innovation Technology Programme.

Connecting business with university expertise, supporting growth, knowledge exchange and innovation through development of continuous professional development programmes and development of regional SME programmes boosting income and regional engagement.My strands of work included managing the Profitnet business and innovation learning network and Profitnet team, developing training opportunities for business, supporting and extending partnerships in the region and maximising opportunities for students to engage with business.

Management of Profitnet and Profitnet Plus learning network groups of businesses across Sussex. Development of opportunities for business engagement including licensing of the Profitnet programme in the UK and abroad, as well as student placements, projects, CPD, knowledge transfer and research opportunities.
