Judith is a healthcare professional with a passion for health and people in a holistic manner. She matriculated in 1987, where after she studied towards a B Cur (General Nursing, Community Health, Psychiatric Nursing and Midwifery) degree at the then RAU (now UJ). In 1998, she obtained a degree in Nursing Science: Healthcare Management and Education at UNISA and completed the written exams on research and African healthcare towards her Master’s degree.As the National Nursing Service Manager at the Medicross Healthcare group, she focused on establishing preventative healthcare clinics, development of the nursing staff, and introducing health and safety policies and procedures. Later, as General Manager of the SAA-Netcare Travel Clinics, she specialised in prevention of diseases on an international level, whilst growing a financially sustainable business with all the legal requirement adhered to in the international market. Judith then headed up the Aganang HIV Resource Centre (NPO) as General Manager. Working with and seeing the devastating impact of this pandemic has urged her to share her knowledge about the prevention of HIV and the appropriate treatment and care of people who are infected and affected by HIV and AIDS. Aganang provided a comprehensive and holistic HIV and AIDS management programme to various organizations throughout South Africa. Her career history has afforded her the opportunity to work with the entire spectrum of corporate, NGO’s and Government.Not only has Judith successfully established and grown sustainable businesses with an excellent track record in the healthcare industry but she has also been able to pro-actively guide, influence and advise all relevant stakeholders on current and future challenges. She has also worked closely with other related governing bodies and institutions to assist in formulating strategies and best practices that ensures efficient and effective services.
