-Overall responsibility for managing Quality organisation to assure product quality. Ensure compliance and inspection readiness of quality system and manufacturing facilities under applicable regulatory standards.-Participates as staff member in establishing the strategies and objectives that determine the plant’s direction.

-Responsible for P&L and manage all available resources: People, Facility, Budget, Equipment, and Materials for manufacturing all OTC and prescription drugs for local market and export to US and Mexico, in order to achieve high service level under high margin / low cost products, taking care of the people, safety, quality and the environment. -Participates in establishing the strategies and objectives that will determine the plant’s direction and ensure the optimal operation of departments within the organisation.-Lead organizational changes and remediation project to improve quality, supply chain and facilities. The program included: (1) Re-staffing personnel for HR, facilities, maintenance, quality and R&D. (2) Develop Educational program for all professional employees. (3) Critical systems improvements and areas re-design to comply with Beta Lactam containment requirements. (4) Implement a Cost Improvement program.

-Responsible for Quality system design and development, Plant Start-Up validation, Mold transfer from Puerto Rico to Dominican Republic Operations. -Customer audits and plant approval.-Overall responsibilities for Quality organisation.

Dominican Republic

-Overall responsibility for managing the Master Validation Plan, support microbiology lab and other quality engineers, perform process and equipment qualifications as required. Change control leader. Participates in implementing new regulatory and international standards.-Several Positions (Manufacturing Superintendent in charge of Second Shift, Process/Project Engineer Extrusion operations transfer from PR).
