Judith Black Moore is the co-founder and CEO of the Tarik Black Foundation (TBF). She is an award-winning authority in strategic public relations and nonprofit management, widely respected for her ability to guide businesses, executives, and organizations through complex challenges to achieve transformative results. Her leadership approach blends innovative strategy with a commitment to developing solutions that are robust, actionable, and impact-driven.Judith’s career has included leading public relations and marketing efforts for renowned institutions such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, International Paper, the National Civil Rights Museum, Memphis City Schools, Memphis Light, Gas and Water, and the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art.In addition to leading TBF, Judith serves as Vice President of Public Relations for The Carter Malone Group, where she advises municipal, corporate, and individual clients. Her extensive experience equips her to provide expert guidance in navigating corporate crises, managing and rebuilding reputations, and developing strategies for sustainable organizational growth.Specializing in nonprofit management consulting, Judith empowers organizations to set achievable goals, build impactful partnerships, and design programs that amplify their missions. She and her son, professional basketball player Tarik Black, co-founded TBF in 2017, a nonprofit to address a critical need in Memphis: empowering young people with the skills and resources to build successful lives. Leveraging the mother and son's vast network of professionals, TBF offers innovative life education programs that provide unique opportunities and transformative experiences.Under Judith’s leadership, TBF has launched groundbreaking initiatives, including global virtual learning classes for Memphis students, a global tech education event for coding students, leadership camps for boys and girls, and mentorship programs for athletes.
