I spent 30+ years working in the mortgage lending industry. I had the opportunity to work in every department in lending including servicing, marketing, shipping, loan application, file disclosing, closing document preparation, loan processing, underwriting and post closing. My most recent positions allowed me the opportunity to lead a team within a branch. My background includes working with many products/programs such as conventional, FHA, VA and Bond Loans. I also have experience with subprime lending programs, second liens and jumbo products. My career in the lending industry has allowed me to assist clients from all walks of life. It was always important to be certain the client's file moved along in the process without being delayed by road blocks. Passion and dedication for the industry and my knowledge of how the entire process works have assisted me in helping many homeowners obtain financing for their dream home. During my career I have been surrounded by colleagues that excelled in the industry, some of whom I stay in contact with to this day.The market has changed in recent years, rising rates and home prices have caused a slow down in the lending industry. I am currently working as an AP clerk for a renewable energy company. While it is not the same industry, organization, attention to detail and communication all are still traits I am utilizing in my new role.
