Covid-19 increased the use of virtual visits across our enterprise.Our “tenacious team of 4” supported up to 4000 virtual visits per day since March 13, 2020Starting in July, 60 percent of all of Hopkin's virtual visits will be on the new platform with the remaining 40% to go over in early August. It has been 20 weeks supporting customers using the tools and technology deployed by ISVC during COVID-19.The Telemedicine Department turned on Video Visit on the Fly functionality enterprise-wide. Epic users are able to set up an unscheduled video visit with any Hopkins patient within Epic. This tool can be used by any role of the health care team; Billing is not required in this workflow to allow for RN, Case Management, and Allied Health use. Patient joins through My ChartOur department, Johns Hopkins Integration Services Video, and Collaboration (ISVC) group provided coordination and support for collaboration over the network between all schools, centers, and divisions of the Johns Hopkins Institutions. Our group goal is to provide all of Johns Hopkins with reliable, cost-effective, and state of the art services allowing doctors to heal and teachers to teach, no matter where they are. Services range from Telemedicine to Distance Learning. The ISVC supported Live Telemedicine programs across the Johns Hopkins Enterprise and Health system.

High organization skills and attention to detail were essential for clients.Ms. Thomas also held the position of Executive Director of the Larry King Cardiac Foundation, a non profit organization that provides funding for individuals who, due to limited means and inadequate insurance, was unable to obtain funding for heart surgery. As the Executive Director she supported the strategic direction of the Larry King Cardiac Foundation in the planning, organizing and managing of all logistical and aspects of galas and meetings..

Under the guidance of Thomas, the Larry King Cardiac Foundation staged numerous successful Larry King Cardiac Foundation Galas on the East Coast and West Coast in Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles, which were covered by Entertainment Tonight, NBC, ABC, CBS and was listed in the Washington Post as the must attend event, yearly. Ms. Thomas oversaw the production of multiple videos that featured key entertainers, award recipients and honorees; served as spokesperson for the organization and provided leadership in forging partnerships with the Hollywood community through entities such as ICM, David Brokaw and Associates, William Morris and business associates of Larry King’s.Ms. Thomas’ team was instrumental in securing sponsorship dollars from American Airlines, Four Seasons, Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey Circus, Turner Broadcasting, CNN, Westwood One, USA Today, Milken Family Foundation, Peter Max, Kodak, General Motors, Time Warner, Walt Disney Company, Sol Kerzner, The Law offices of Jack H. Olender & Associates, P.C., Deloitte & Touche, United Airlines, Tiffany & Co., Pilot Pens Carlson Companies, Inc., The Jonathan M.
